Tomorrow at this time I will be an official PC volunteer, crazy... Today could've been a lot better than was planned. We had some people form the USAID come talk to us about their work. Sounds like some neat projects but kinda ironic that they are investing the most money in countries like Iraq, and Afghanistan, where we have gone in and initially destroyed through wars..
The whole afternoon we were supposed to go into Quito and tour the historical district. The USAID presentation went later than expected so we didn't get into Quito till noon. They gave us an hour for lunch and then we only had 2 hours to do stuff around the city.
So we rushed through a really neat museum and then went to the Basilica. Some of us went to the top, it was a really awesome view of Quito. A lot of us wanted to stay in Quito but they made us go back to Tumbaco in the same busetas that had brought us there earlier.
Tom, Portia, Rebekah and I went to Ventura Mall to get some food and ice cream. We then went our separate ways and I came home to watch Sherlock Holmes. I've got a bunch of movies and music, although they all won't play..hmm
