2 month anniversary! Today is our first night in Guayaquil. We left this morning at 7:30 AM from Quito, which means that we got to the bus stop in Tumbaco at 5:50 to get to Quito. We were on the bus from 7:30AM till 5 PM. We had one break of 15 min in Santo Domingo. I guess they switched hotels because the first one wasn’t in a safe place so now we are more downtown. It’s actually really pretty here. Def doesn’t feel like Ecuador. More like Europe or even the U.S., it also feels really safe. We ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant-so good! After that we got ice cream and went to the boardwalk or the Malicon. It’s really pretty. Some people stayed to get beers but Portia, Rebekah, Marissa, Cara and I came back to the hotel.
I showered and started working on our project; laminating body part cards. We’re doing a Bingo game, match the body parts and definitions of the words and true/false. I think it should go pretty well but you never know what will go down at these charlas. Cuanto Sabes lecture tomorrow, all day..then sight seeing. Night
